It was sposed to be cold and possibly snowy so there was a possibility of bailing and staying cozy at home, but we made it! We did some molly and horse drugs and had a really good time.

It was my first time at Massive in years but seemed just as I remembered. Some good gogo dancer babes too. Im proud of how hot we look together 😈

I got to meet some of Catgirl's pin friends before at raygun, they seem cool and I hope to play them sometime. I had known for a while she would get pin attention from being really good and hot.

My favorite part about the comic is that I was literally snuggling in while Catgirl was playing pokopia in that exact pose when I read it. I guess it's not that much of a coincidence.

It felt perfectly challenging, like if we had slightly less conditioning or practice it might have been too hard. It was still tricky to remember everything and stay in time but I like having a foundation to develop. We need to get a video of the surfboard pose too.

I used a sewing needle to run a piece of thread through a container of metmarket cashews, and tied it around my balcony railing. I liked seeing LB try to take it 😸.

It took them almost a week, but today I saw the container had less food in it. I need to remember to clean it out though! I think it will work better if I put a different container inside the secured one that I can remove and wash. I also want a way to provide water for sippies and dippies

Now I won't create a huge mess underneath from sloppy crow friends. I saw boogie get some snacks too, they were still quite timid though. GB let me get so close 🥹

This was my pin fit on Monday. Catgirl was subbing for Bad Cats so I decided to sub for the flips and try to get more points than her. She had a problem with a creep though, I hope it didn't ruin her night. I'm pretty anxious about how she's doing rn.

We both posted "Off to drain some balls". It's not the first time, but Threads showed my post to way more people than it usually does. I wonder if it's because it cropped the pics in the app, which might compel people to open it?

I think this was Merp? They get a cheer (from Berp?) when they finish! I love seeing how they prefer to figure out the package puzzle before just eating the treats that are already available.

This is a different crow. I like seeing them tumble stuff around. I worry that pecking the packaging hurts or frustrates them so I don't let them go at it for too long, and open the container more.

Poor pidgey can't understand the clear packaging. They eventually started bullying other crow friend 👿 I got upset and chased them around a bit.

Last week I tripped in my kitchen and dropped a mug full of hot choco and hurt my bad shoulder 😢. I actually got pretty distraught about it and had to skip L3 pole and had already missed trap due to it being an off week between sessions.

Catgirl cheered me up and dragged me to sling class with her though! I had fun and despite being L1 it was really difficult.

Catgirl was going to be away but cancelled her flight due to weather, and couldn't get into the class I had signed up for.

It was my second L3 class, and my first with Jana. She checked that I was new in the beginning of class and had a dancey warmup and her sillyness quickly put me at ease, and I feel like I was able to do a lot more than if I were feeling too anxious. I didn't really think about that until the end. I missed having Catgirl to look at though.

My legs are pretty bruised but I really like L3, and how it feels challenging and rewarding.

Previously,

I lost my old 2025 intentions unfortunately but I think I did well? I feel a lot better about cooking and have had a lot of fun cooking with Catgirl, which I was super nervous about at first. I managed to get into L3 pole which wasn't even a goal. I didn't run as much as I wanted, but came pretty close to 1000 miles, and that was a pretty artificial goal anyway. I got surgery, a tattoo, and new holes. 1 out 1 to 2025.

Even taking out the garbage is fun. Making mundane choores into something to look forward to with a friend is so special.

Merp and Berp shared a breakfast and Panther approved of crow treats

I was so worried about him being lonely or sick in the beginning of the catsitting, but by the end he settled in so well. He had a great appetite too. He still seemed to miss mommy and his friends, understandably, but most of his meows seemed to be for more treats.

We went on patrols every day and made so many precious new silly memories, this time with Catgirl 😻😻😻. I honestly thought that I had already had my last Panther vacation but he still has so much more love to share with everyone apparently.

Sexy Choreo

Catgirl and I did a sexy choreo class at SPD. We were both nervous, especially about the possiblity of having to do an improv in front of the class which happens sometimes at SPD. I really liked it though, and the warmups did a good job of hypnotizing us into sexy gooey mode.

Looking at the video, I definitely thought I was moving more fluidly and slowly. The bits on the floor especially felt more exaggreated than they look, so I really want to practice the froggy-grinds. I'm really proud of us 😺.

Panther Time, One More Time

I'm catsitting Big P for a week while Diane does xmus in Portland. I think this is the first time he's been over since he lost his hearing. It seems to have a big effect on him. He mustn't be able to know who's around and doesn't know when he'll get to see mommy or the kittens again. Every time I see him he's a bit slower and sicker looking and now he meows a LOT and probably can't even hear himself and it shreds my heart into a horrible miserable pulp. I want him to feel safe and comfy so badly and I feel so helpless and explode into tears constantly.

I know he's lived a good cat life, one of the best probably. He's friends with everyone and such a comfort and deserves so much himself. He still has strong paws for grabbing treats from me and remembered how to get to my apartment from the elevator. Despite everything, he's still chugging along and expanding my capacity for love and appreciation of cute moments.

We got visited by Merp and Berp (?) briefly on my balcony, but couldn't get Panther's attention since he can't hear them. They were only around for a moment and I didn't want to startle them.

Tysm to Catgirl for helping out a ton and offering so much necessary love and comfort.

This is one of my new favorites. I just turned around and Groof's egg was gone! And then I turned around again and suddenly Groof is right there. They're so swift and quiet.

Longlegs likes putting eggs in puddles for some reason. I think they're just used to putting food in water to make it easier to eat. Their friend Fussy disagrees and baps them in the head! I looks like a friendly bap at least.

I also tried putting treats on a bike seat to see what would happen, but Fussy couldn't hold on very well. I didn't get a video, but Longlegs also was sliding down some parking gizmo due to the rain.

This was outside Rubenstein's while I was eating a bagel. I had stashed a bunch of treats for 3 nearby crows who were all very excited and very very hungry. They restashed a bunch of the treats, and this one either couldn't remember where they stashed them, or was just hoping to get lucky maybe.

First L3 Pole

The class was fun and encouraging but also painful and difficult. We ended up at the front of the class for some reason despite being early. This meant I got to see an exciting mini show from Naoko before class as she tried some combo someone else was talking to her about. It's such an exciting bonus to class. Also holey moley there's some baddies in class. I guess all the levels have that, but they're new baddies and considerably more conditioned. It's difficult to imagine L4/5.

It turns out Naoko's L3 alternates between spin and static? At least I think that's what the situation is. Being a spin class made it more difficult but I needed the refresher.

L2 seemed to be focused a lot on invertaing and L3 seems like that will be replaced with aerial inverts. There's an intermediate inversions class that might help.

I look pretty weird from it being after xgiving, and also because I forgot to bring my shorts (❓❓❓) so I panic bought some red ones from the store. I don't really like them and regret not just using my underpants, though that might have been a bungle too.

I want to practice these some more, but also I really jammed my right foot. I think I'm not orienting it properly from the videos.

Catgirl and I went to the Phair Castle, along with Diane, Laura, Brianna, and I think that's it?

I got super stressed about getting ready, but Catgirl was very accomodating. I was originally going to workout with Ben, but I didn't have enough time and abandoned that idea.

It turned out that everyone was running late anyway, which is what I think happens every year but I always forget.

At the Phair castle

I got super drained of battery from being around kids. Julia started tackling me which was fun and cute but exhausting.

It was Catgirl's first time meeting Pixel, and it went as expected. Pixel was friendly for a bit and then got swipey.

⚠ Caught Gooning

The Phair Castle has a nice little nook in Ben's office that we snuck into. We thought it was private because there's curtains to cover the entrance and the door to the room was closed.

Unfortunately, there was a window looking right into it from the balcony and Erin was peeping at us for an unknown amount of time. It remains a mystery as to how much she saw, but there was a decent amout to see imo. I think Catgirl was mostly amused but was a little self-conscious 😟.

Catgirl drew a little cat face on his collar, which had been blank for too long.

We also gave Panther a bath! He obviously didn't like it and eventually let out a sad yowl 😿. Dirty Jeff used soap instead of baby shampoo, so I hope his fur is okay. Catgirl and I used the blowdryer on him after, and he seemed to like it. He got into a very satisfied looking cat-pear pose 🍐.

Poor Panther has lost his hearing it seems. I'm so glad he still seems like a happy cat. Maybe his hearing loss is related to him wanting to hang out with everyone, so he could be alterted to any sort of interesting events that he otherwise might not hear.

Katamari looks really fun but I didn't play too much. Catgirl got me real loopy, and I had trouble reading the text on the screen, and also got very distracted by Panther.

Diane later commented on how skinny Panther looks in the photos and how she misses her sack of potatoes which made me pretty sad, but I'm glad he's still hanging out with us and being dopey. I think it's important to be dopey.

Aileen, our instructor, seemed unimpressed but sympathetic to how tired we were. I bungled my crucifix, partially because I haven't been practicing my left side like a bozo.

I had been wanting to take the L3 test before the end of 2025. Now I need to muster the courage to actually go to an L3 class. It seems scary and I mostly wanted to take the test just to know I could pass it. L2 still feels really difficult at times. I want to work towards L2 choreo or heels next, I think.

The leg hangs feel pretty okay now... I almost typed "easy" but they're not easy yet. The first time I tried an inside leg hang, it hurt so much. There's a lot of pole moves like that I suppose.

I'm not sure what causes them to look like this, I think the angle of the sun? Maybe I should look up the time of day I took it and try again. It adds to my suspicion that crows see UV light and is maybe part of how they tell each other apart.

I was walking into Shorty's and I got bamboozled by Dwayne telling me it was 7 people and just about to start. I lost my first match to a complete n00b which was worrysome, and second to Sergey.

I don't know how I got ranked so highly, I think it's an artifact of not competing very often. Sergey is definitely a level above me. You can just tell when someone's average scores are beating your top scores. I got kinda lucky in my match against him, but that's how it goes.

The Babby Hold

I had been catsitting Panther, and he kept trying to find a spot to hang out while I was working. He kept sitting in weird corners on top of cables, and didn't want to sit on cushions for some reason. I thought maybe he would sit in my lap if I had pillow and awkwardly hoisted him up, and it was an accident that he ended up in this position. I didn't even have my phone on me, so this was actually taken with an ipad(?) I had lying around.

I made these a while ago, and just saw the sushi friend again. I gave it to my friend's kid at some point. They're missing the seaweed wrap ☹ but was assured it exists somewhere in their massive pile of stuffies.

Also here's an eyeball I made for a 3yo's birthday. It's supposed to be dianoga but I didn't make the tentacle part. You can stuff it in your sleeve and use it like a puppet though. I made it super quickly and it's not the best quality but am proud of how fast it came out.

Pole for the Hole

A bunch of our instructors were performing which was so cool to see. It's like we only get little clues about how they might look when performing from their classes. I was too shy to talk to any of them though.

We were way far back which made it a little difficult to see. Eventually Catgirl and I moved up a single row which felt surprisingly better. It was funny overhearing Dirty Jeff talk about all the judging rules with Diane.

I'm really glad I went again and that I got to bring Catgirl and that she liked it too. It's so inspiring to see all the babes being so extra and trying their hardest to be expressive. I think it's difficult to feel like yourself, and also difficult to figure out what you're even supposed to feel like, and pole has been a really great environment for exploring that.

I think this might be Groof's honker? Really hard to say. I thought they were Groof at first because they recognized me, but they're super scared of the egg and tube and Groof just went at the tube yesterday.

After they peck the egg, they walk off to the side and give me a sad crow look pretty similar to what Groof does 😿

A different crow, maybe Groof? comes and helps them with chatters of encouragement.

Part of why I think they're a juvenile is how excited their lil' trots are. Egg Drop is one of my favorite special crow moves. I need to make a list of them all.

I was at the kitty loft waiting for her to come home from surg and went out to visit her crow friends. They ate all the peanuts I had!

I saw the squirrel to the side and was thinking they were dangerous but they still got me off guard. Sometimes I see them on reddit getting along with crows, but now I know they're a hazard.

This is Green Bandit, who I assume is research crow from UW. They seem pretty friendly. I've seen crows with the green bands maybe a dozen times now, but not sure if they're all the same crow.

Green Bandit can carry two peanuts, but not three, so they call their friend for help. They can caw with their beak full of peanuts apparently! But honkers need to use their whole body to honk. We got loopy at the aquarium but didn't take a photo, so Catgirl made these. It was an incredibly lovely day. Played pin and ate hotdogs and did L2 pole and watched anime and drank hot chocolate and other things too probably.

I was running late so I didn't wear a matching outfit which is why it's b&w. I was toast at this point, we had done a lot of leg hang switches and the instructor was like "a lot of you are looking at your legs sadly so let's do something different". It did feel pretty good but I was low on arm strength. Also I have a bruise on my hip that's making hangs get into my pocket kind of tough.

I saw a tech messing with it a few weeks ago due to a switch being stuck down causing scores to go up continually, so I assume they reset it. 1.2B is good for me but won't last.

I beat Titanosaurous, Gigan, and Ghidorah I think, but didn't get much on the Ghidora fight. Then Monster Zero started before Planet X, which I don't actually know how to start. Pretty nice to feel like it's close though.

My inside leg hangs are feeling much better now. Maybe even better than outside.

Things to remember:

Go in the hip pocko
Remove inside arm first(?)
Do a goblin squat for insides, don't do full invert
Switches go: inside -> pike -> outside -> pike etc.
Push outside leg into pole
Open chest, use this to hold back into position correctly
